Rob Lee received his BSEE in 1983 from Lehigh University, his MSEE in 1988 and his Ph.D. in 1990, both graduate degrees from the University of Arizona. He has worked for Microwave Semiconductor Corporation, Hughes Aircraft Company and Sandia National Laboratories. He has been at Ohio State University since 1990 and has earned a full professorship.
Research Interests
Dr. Lee’s primary area of research interest is in numerical techniques for electromagnetics, specifically on differential-based techniques such as the finite element and finite difference methods. He has also worked on hybrid methods, boundary truncation techniques and error analysis of FEM. He has used his techniques to solve problems in jet inlet scattering, mine detection antennas and coils for high field MRI.
