Education

Roberto Rojas Received is BSEE from New Mexico State University in 1979, his MSEE in 1981 and his Ph.D. in 1985, both graduate degrees from OSU. He has worked ever since at the ESL and has been a full professor since 2002. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.

Research Interests

Dr. Rojas’ research interests include active integrated antennas, reconfigurable antennas, nonlinear microwave circuits, conformal arrays, and modeling of planar passive integrated microwave components. Dr. Rojas is currently interested in active integrated arrays, conformal arrays, coupled oscillators and the application of nonlinear dynamics concepts in the analysis and design of active microwave circuits. He is also involved in the development of analytical as well as numerical techniques to study electromagnetic radiation, scattering and wave-guiding phenomena in complex environments. He has developed several high frequency analysis tools to study edge diffraction phenomena from material structures.
