Biography

Dr. Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1966. He received the B.Sc.E.E degree from National Taiwan University in 1988, the M.Sc.E.E. and PhD from The Ohio State University in 1993 and 1997, respectively. He has been with the ElectroScience Laboratory of the OSU as graduate research associate from 1992 to 1997 and is currently a Senior Research Associate. His main research interests include ground penetration radar (GPR) applications, radar signal processing, broad bandwidth antenna development. His currently involved in developing GPR systems for the detection/classification of drainage pipes, anti-personnel mines and unexploded ordnance.
