ESL Student PresentationsEvery other Wednesday, student presentations are held in the ESL Classroom from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. For presenters, these meetings provide a forum for ESL students to practice their masters/Ph.D defenses in front of a live audience of peers in electromagnetics. Additionally, giving a talk can be used to satisfy the EE881 seminar requirement imposed as part of the Ph.D program. Attendees are rewarded (bribed) for their participation with a free lunch of pizza and soft drinks. For new students, participating in these meetings gives an opportunity to meet your new colleagues and interact with faculty outside of the classroom. Perhaps you will even find ideas for your own future work by listening in. From attendees, comments and questions are strongly encouraged. The stronger our ideas are before they leave our building, the stronger our colleagues can compete on a national level!
